Chattahoochee Old Town Park, formerly named Brush Creek Park, is a wonderfully scenic setting in which to spend a month or two camping and fishing along the banks of the Chattahoochee River. This park is home to a pair of bald eagles which raise young there each year. The grounds are also the location of historic Indian mounds and the Lower Creek Trading Path, a Native American trade route dating back thousands of years. Take a stroll along the park’s five-mile nature trail and pass by Civil War era graves and Native American relics.
