Picnicking

When was the last time you went on a picnic? Exactly. More often than not, meals are just another boring experience, taken on the run, rushed through at our desks, or in front of the TV. It’s time to change our mindset and method, and get out and enjoy an open-air lakeside lunch. How about surprising the entire family with an evening cookout in Mother Nature’s dining room? Or if romance is in the air, alfresco dinner as you watch the sun set. Nothing beats the smell of a smokin’ grill.

West Point Lake’s many parks provide numerous pavilions and picnic tables to choose from, free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis. Close by are benches, playgrounds, restrooms, and water fountains. And don’t forget to bring your bikes and fishing poles. Initiate the family basics and spend some quality time together. Start a tradition at West Point Lake, and make memories that will last forever.

Reserve a Pavilion

If you’re looking to host a company picnic, family reunion, or birthday party, reserve a picnic pavilion. Pavilion reservations may be made by phone with credit card or in person with cash, check, or credit card five days prior to use. Please call for in-person payment locations.

Reservable pavilions may be used free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis, if not already reserved. If the shelter has been reserved, a reserved sign will be posted at the location.
